May 2020 Newsletter

We just want to say thank you. We have said it before but we think it needs saying again, we have been absolutely overwhelmed with the support and commitment of our MLC students and families.

Music is such an important part of people’s lives and we are grateful that when we moved our business online at the end of March you came with us and have continued to enjoy music tuition with us during lockdown. So Thank you! We aren’t stopping there though, and have some exciting new activities and courses included in this News bulletin to keep you entertained and engaged throughout the lockdown period.

The Show Must go on – ‘MLC’s Summer Stream’

As many of you are aware from conversations with your teachers at the beginning of the year, pre-lockdown we had secured our usual Summer Performance at Metronome for Sunday 19th July. As social distancing rules will unfortunately make this event very unlikely to happen now, we have decided to continue the concert online! ‘MLC’s Summer Stream’ will run on the 19th July as planned and will showcase pre-recorded talent that will be brought together in bands as usual. There will be a full schedule too, not only will there be a programme of music performances, the day will also include loads of other exciting activities and content such as guest appearances, competitions and live broadcasts. All available from your sofa or garden!

To confirm your involvement please let your teacher know that you would like to take part and look out for more details to follow. It’s worth mentioning that, due to the nature of the concert being online, by agreeing to take part you are providing media consent.
