Whether learning for fun or working towards a qualification, our tutors can teach you voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, music theory and production.
Lessons are structured around the leading international examining boards, including: RSL Awards, ABRSM and the London College of Music. Our syllabus ensures that each lesson includes technical work, aural awareness and performance techniques with a focus on development and progression for each student.

The qualifications on offer range from Entry Level through to Level 6 and are designed to be practical, flexible, stimulating and fun, to suit musicians of all abilities and aspirations.
Our courses carry both QCF credits and UCAS points.

If you are 18 years and over and have already gained Grade 8 in Music Performance, MLC can offer you the opportunity to work towards an internationally recognised Diploma in Music Performance and/or Teaching, awarded by Trinity College London.

MLC Online is a modern distance learning and teaching platform enabling people to achieve their career and life goals whilst studying at times and in places that suits them. The mission of MLC Online is to be open and accessible to all people – regardless of age and ability – thus widening participation in music education without sacrificing quality.
MLC Online uses well-established methods of delivering distance learning. Our modern learning management system fully integrates multimedia (such as videos, podcasts and infograms) and offers ‘supported distance learning’ by way of peer-to-peer sessions, question/answer forums and frequent surveys – all of which are designed to support student progression.
